Meeting Places
Below are listed times when local churches offer informal meeting places for coffee and conversation.
The Crossing
At Tonbridge Methodist Church, Higham Lane. A new informal meeting place for the whole community.
Open on Tuesdays from 9 am to 11 am and Thursdays from 10 am to 12 noon.
Coffee Stop
In the cricket pavilion on the Green at Leigh, on Wednesdays from 10 am to 1130 am. Coffee, tea, home-made cakes and good, friendly conversation.
From October to April, this continues in the Genner Rooms, Leigh Church.
Christ Church, High Street, Tonbridge
Open every Monday - Friday from 10 am to 1 pm and on Saturdays from 10 am to 12 noon. All are welcome for tea, coffee, cold drinks and a chat. There is also a prayer request book and team memebers are happy to pray with people confidentially. The church sanctuary is open for private prayer and reflection.
St Peter and St Paul, Tonbridge
Located within the Parish Church of St Peter and St Paul, behind the Rose and Crown Hotel, the Coffee Lounge is open every Monday - Saturday from 10 am to 12 noon.
Come in and discover the historic Parish Church of Tonbridge, part of which is the oldest building in Tonbridge, and within which we highlight our Parish link with Jane Austen.
Take an opportunity for reflection and prayer in the quiet and coolness of the Church, which remains open till 4 pm on Saturdays.
